SUBSTANCE PAINTER TEXTURING AND BAKING
3. PBR Texturing and Baking
This is the meat and potato's of Texturing.
We leverage our Highpoly geometry to create several textures, we then use those textures to create several other textures:
An Albedo
A Metalic
Roughness
We hand these three textures to a material using a PBR shader, and can create "Physically Based" textures.
We can leverage our Highpoly which will aid us in the texturing process.

Mixing and Matching techniques.
We can mix and match techniques and methods. There's nothing stopping you doing your hand paint in blender, then opening the file in photoshop, and adding drop shadows.
There's nothing forcing you to hand paint in blender, you can turn all the PBR content of Substance Painter off, and texture directly in there - aided by your bakes.
You can use some, none, or all of your bake files (or many others).
